The Craftsmanship: The Art of Negative Space The challenge here was the balance of the "negative space." Our carvers meticulously hollowed out the areas around the vines to create a lace-like effect, allowing the wall color to peek through. The central "K" was carved in a fluid, script font, ensuring it felt integrated into the floral design rather than just placed on top. A two-tone natural wood and white-wash finish was used to give it a soft, "Coastal-Chic" appearance.
